You will go to the Valley of the Moon and Death, located 16 km from San Pedro de Atacama.

Less than 1 km away, you can already see the landscape change with the appearance of the Salt Cordillera, formed 22 million years ago.

Arrival at the Valley of the Moon, one of the best preserved and most exotic sanctuaries in the region. Visit of the statues "las tres Marias".
You will enjoy a nice long walk and a beautiful sunset, before returning to San Pedro de Atacama.

day 4: Geysers of the Tatio and them thermal baths / Free afternoon
Departure early in the morning to reach the Tatio Geysers, which are located at 4320 m above sea level and from which one can observe an impressive spectacle with the emergence of violent steam jets at 85º.

You will enjoy the view of a superb sunrise, surrounded by 40 geysers, 60 hot springs and 70 fumaroles.

You will then have the opportunity to have breakfast and bathe in the thermal waters (at 30º).

You will take the road back to San Pedro de Atacama passing by Machuca, a small picturesque village populated by Atacameño pastoralists.

day 5: Visit to the Salar de Atacama and the altiplanic lagoons
Leaving early in the morning. We will visit the Salar de Atacama. You will also see the Chaxa Lagoon inhabited by beautiful animals such as flamingos .

You will head towards the town of Toconao, an abundant "freshwater oasis" and fruit trees.

Then you will pass to Socaire (3,250 m), Miñiques and the Miscanti Lagoons, (at 4,000 m) which were formed 1 million years ago with the eruption of the Miñiques volcano.

Return to San Pedro de Atacama.

day 6: San Pedro de Atacama / Calama and flight to Santiago, transfer to Valparaiso
Transfer to Calama airport (about 1h30) and flight from Calama to Santiago de Chile (about 2h05 flight time). Lunch at leisure.

Departure from the capital to reach the coastal city of Valparaiso, during the journey you can admire the landscapes designed by the different wine estates of the Casablanca valley.

day 7: Valparaíso, between sky and sea
Day at leisure to discover Valparaíso by yourself.

Here you are in Valparaiso, the country's second largest city and one of the major ports on the Pacific coast. The city is built on many hills (45 in all!), dotted with houses with colourful facades. It is an endearing, bohemian city with a typically Latino atmosphere.

You will leave from Valparaiso to reach Santiago airport.

day 9: Grey Glacier Discovery Cruise
In the morning, you leave your hotel in Puerto Natales to go to the Lago Gray Hotel located in Torres del Paine National Park, to start the trip to the Grey Glacier, a must-see excursion.

This tour allows you to enjoy an incomparable landscape of floating icebergs, lush vegetation and imposing mountains.

From the hotel, you arrive in a few minutes to the Pingo River where you cross its bridge and go through a native forest.

After 1 hour and 15 minutes of navigation you will be at the foot of the Grey glacier. You will be able to appreciate at a very short distance all the beauty and the extent of the ice walls of more than 20 meters that the glacier offers as a show.

Admire this thousand-year-old mass of ice while tasting a Pisco Sour.

day 10: Torres del Paine and Cueva del Milodón
Departure from your hotel in Puerto Natales in a northerly direction to take the road along the Seno de Ultima Esperanza for a few kilometers.

You will arrive at the Silla del Diablo, a natural rock formation 30 meters high, then to the natural monument of Cueva del Milodon to visit the museum and start a short walk of 250 meters inside the huge cave 200 meters deep where remains of prehistoric animals have been found.

Then you will return to the road to stop for a few minutes in one of the cafeteria of Villa Cerro Castillo (border area with Argentina) and later you will arrive at the viewpoint of Lake Sarmiento with an impressive view of the Paine Massif, in addition to the fauna such as guanacos, condors and rhea.

You will make a stop in the Laguna Amarga area to have one of the best views of the imposing Torres del Paine.

Later you will be at the Mirador de los Lagos, where you can admire its different colors. After an easy walk, you will arrive to Salto Grande, an imposing waterfall with a great flow.

Then, following the Pehoe Lake, you will go to the Gray Lake area where, on certain occasions, it is possible to observe some of the rare "huemules" that inhabit the area.

After crossing a suspension bridge, you will begin a walk through a native forest to the long beach of the lake, to admire the huge chunks of ice that have broken away from the glacier.

Return trip to Puerto Natales.
